is MinTech International, Inc
MinTech International, Inc. was formed in order to develop and market
Chinese industrial minerals internationally using advanced production
technology combined with quality control programs from USA and
Chinese high quality industrial mineral resources.
MinTech's joint-venture production plants have been in
operation for many years. Uniform quality products are guaranteed
by years of experience in production and by recent technological
improvements from MinTech International, Inc. establishing a modern
quality assurance laboratory and installation of modern process
equipment. Key members of the company have proven experience in
production, sales and marketing products in the mineral industry
in USA. Haydn H. Murray, the Chairman, oversees the overall operation
of the company. Richard H. Zhou, the President of the company,
is focused on managing the quality control to insure a uniform
supply of the products. North America Business office for MinTech is responsible for the overall development
and management of MinTech's
marketing and sales in North America. Our branch offices in China
manage the sales in the Chinese domestic markets.
MinTech's major efforts are on marketing
and sales of products from its joint venture plants, but it is
not just a marketing and sales organization. Instead, MinTech is also very involved in the development
of new products, process technology and quality control of the
mining and production. MinTech guarantees that its products and
technical sales service will meet or exceed our customer's expectations.

Individuals
Haydn H. Murray,
elected to National Academy of Engineering, USA ,and also the
Chairman of the Board of Directors of MinTech International, Inc.,
is an internationally renowned expert in the industrial minerals
field. Dr. Murray brings many years of experience in industrial
minerals and business operations to MinTech International, Inc.
He was professor of geology at Indiana University for more than
twenty-five years and served as Chairman of the Department of
Geological Sciences for twelve years. He was president of AIPEA
(International Clay Minerals Society) from 1993 to 1997. At Georgia
Kaolin Company (then the largest kaolin company in the United
States) from 1957 to 1973 he held senior positions in research
and operations and served as Executive Vice President from 1964
to 1973. The numerous honors and awards that he has received have
shown that he is and has been a key figure in the world industrial
minerals areas.
Richard H. Zhou, President & CEO, and Director of MinTech International,
Inc., has studied and worked on attapulgite for more than twelve
years. For two and half years he was employed at a US company,
where he spent considerable time on developing new applications
for attapulgite and providing technical service to customers.
He majored in industrial minerals at Indiana University. His Ph.D.
dissertation at Indiana University deals specifically with the
Guanshan deposit, which is currently being mined and processed
by one of the principal joint venture partners – Anhui Mingmei
Minerals Co., Ltd. Richard H. Zhou possesses expertise regarding
the attapulgite deposits and has an in-depth understanding of
the applications and markets for attapulgite. Dr. Zhou's extensive
study and research on attapulgite and the two and one-half years
experience in U.S. Silica Company's quality assurance lab were
invaluable and represent a major advantage for MinTech in terms
of its ability to guarantee product quality and uniformity for
its customers. As a Western-educated Chinese national, Dr. Zhou
is able to combine knowledge of Western business and concept of
quality products with an understanding of Chinese people that
is critical to the company's successful operation.
